Wonderful job. If I remember correctly, I think one of our fellow cuties may have posted some. Does any one remember who posted them? I filed mine by the Cuties' name and not by the category. Kay
If you're talking face, this is Blossoms's face from OMA. I made one of her for my grandniece. I enlarged it until the eyes were the right size, increased the stitch density in the mouth, and after some hand stitches to make it just right, I like it.
A really beautiful doll and so much loving work has gone into her. Your GD will love her to bits.
Just love your doll! Her personality calls out for a lot of hugging. I'd say the pattern is a keeper. Thanks for sharing your creativity
Fabulous doll love the hair and the face is so cute.
Thank you. You wind yarn around paper, sew down the middle. After cutting the loops on the sides, you then sew on that thread line in different size circles on her head. No way is anyone going to pull her hair off!
a very cute doll & one that will last much longer then the dolls of today!~hugs~
Thank You. I think my DD's is in the attic -she has a son-but my sister has my late niece's sitting on a chair in her bedroom.
Darling face. Don't forget spare shoes, unless those are permanently attached! She is quite huggable.
Thank you. The shoes are felt, I'm going to try some cutaway with some decoration one of these days.
Now that brings back memories...very nicely done.
She's precious! The face looks like it was designed for this doll. Well done. She's sure to be loved!
It was pretty close to the original hand one, though I left off the pink cheeks.
That face! I love it! Makes me want to play dolls again. Do you need my addy so you can send me one?
Very lovely sewing job you have done :):)love her hugs Carolyn
