These gift bags are "made to measure" for two jars of my preserves. They are made ITH except for attaching the handles and stitching across the corners to form the base. I changed the design for the second one, but I'm still not really happy with it so I'll probably change it again!

Both bags are great but I find the writing in the red cirlcle hard to read.Maybe the colour of the writing needs to be changed to suit the colour of the fabric used

The darker green in the middle of the red circle is clearer in real life!

Now that is just too much fun! I love it.
My 2 year old granddaughter watches Mickey Mouse and when he needs help, he calls, "Oh, toodles!" and everytime I see Doodles, I just must shout "oh, Doodles".

I didn't know that about Mickey! Mrs Doodles was a nickname when I was a teacher.

What size bag did you end up making for these Sue?

I reckon home made gifts are the best as they come from the heart. Love Chris

I love your creative designs! I wonder if I should save my pennies for a visit across the pond so I can have a taste of those preserves. ;)

They look great! I would think the handles can be stitched ITH too while you attach the outer fabric and lining together.

That would need two hoopings, and the corners would still need doing.

I think that your bags look very nice and, to think the recipient gets two jars of homemade preserves with them...oh, I am so jealous! HINT: I am willing to send my address....:)

Bubble wrap :) Well, if you aren't going to send the jars of preserves....bags are are always welcome! Georgia is a postage friendly spot isn't it? Oh well, if I can't enjoy may the recipients of your goodies truly appreciate and love their gifts!
