Love the colour, nice hat and scarf for the winter..
Well done you! I also love the colours, love Chris
That's a lovely set, Loralye. Love the colours too.
Hugs, Lidia
Looks great Loralye-LOVE the yarn you used. I have to say-for a first try-you did an amazing job! Half double crochet isn't too hard to pick up-try doing it on swatches-you will learn it really quick. There are actually a lot of youtube tutorials for all kinds of knitting and crochet. I can read patterns but it is so much easier if you actually "see" how it is done. Great job-keep on stitching-yup-supposed to be another brutal winter-not looking forward to it :(
me neither brrr I can almost smell it in the air! I did the half double crochet on the wash cloths but I like the look of the full dc with this yarn. It is pretty chunky so it seemed to suit. I am looking forward to wearing it this winter too. But would be happy if winter past us by LOL. ~hugs~
Oh I hear that-my favorite time of year is probably fall-right now, when all the leaves are changing color the air is a little cooler-bright blue skies and sunshine-oh well, have to take the seasons as they come right?
We finally got to take our grandson out to get apples at the Orchard today-huge gorgeous Honeycrisps and Cortlands-can't wait to start baking this weekend-supposed to be a rainy cold day tomorrow-perfect for baking and roasting :D
Well done the scarf set goes well with teddies color and sweater. So warm and snugly looking.Wish I could crochet while riding or read when on a trip but I know better.
Sometimes it is just such a very long ride for me I need to be distracted. Thanks Mary I quite like it too. ~hugs~
Very nice Loralye, you're probably going to need it this winter for sure. I have yarn, but I don't know how to use it. lol! Someday tho!
I think that it will be very cold this winter so I will definitely need it lol. You will learn all in good time. ~hugs~
Good for you so happy you got it made and a scarf besides:);)hugs
So pretty, Loralye...great job.....I have yet to tackle a hat.....
