Thank God you have come through the worst of it JM. I pray that you are on the road to recovery. Love and blessings Chris
Just a note to say I am much improved, but not quite out of the woods. My glands are still slightly swollen, but much reduced, as is my temp. It only took me a week before I felt like getting in the shower, but the dogs and cat didn't care (at least, not as much as I did!). Clean sheets also do wonders. I've lost about 15 pounds this last week, but wouldn't choose to do it this way again. It really felt good to walk out to the mailbox in the 73 degree sunshine, too. My main concern is that I gave it to my son who took me to Urgent Care. I've been saying a few prayers about that. Thanks to all for the good wishes; they ALL helped.
Oooh this is not good. Probaly take another day before you start feeling better/Lillian
You also need to drink, drink, drink. You dehydrate fast with a temp that high, and you will also need to flush the Antibiotic through your liver and kidneys /Lillian
Oh dear!! Please don't send it here!! South East B.C.
We are getting ready for our nieces wedding on our ( Canada) Thanksgiving next week. Both my husband and myself are in the wedding party and we have been looking forward to this for months!!
Do try lemon & honey and rub Vicks on the soles of your feet!! Honest!!
Hugs, Nadyne
You'll feel worlds better by the third dose. Don't forget "strep" has the letters r-e-s-t in it!
Feel better soon! You're on the right track with your antibiotics.
I hope the meds kick in & you start to feel some relief very soon!~hugs~
Gosh I do know what strep is, I do hope you better soon. Heather
It's a worse infection after an infection, and you have no energy. If someone in the family has it, everyone has to take antibiotics.

Hope you have some honey to ease the throat. Ginger is another family friend. Hope you feel better soon.
