So, darling. I have two baby showers I need to prepare for. Thank you for the idea.
You're most welcome, did you go to appliquedownload.com and get the free racoon design? The link to make the towel in further down this post, just scroll down. Have fun at the showers.-Toogie
Das sieht ja wirklich lustig aus, super Motiv und tolle Farbauswahl super :-)
I need to make one of these for our almost 1 yr old grandson and maybe get the bug for the 4 yr old granddaughter and her sister! He sure has character!!!
Edited-dragonflyer wanted the hooded towel info-This is the basic pattern I use for mine. The first one I did I used fabric, like they did here. (click on my hooded TAG here to see my first one, pink flowered)
Adorable! Were is the hoodie towel pattern from?
Had to edit, so I could add the link for the hooded towel instructions.....So Kim, is this what those eight little girls will get next? I gave Ty his blue one yesterday for his b-day along with the Duck Dynasty pillowcase...He liked the towel best, I believe. Put it on his head and wrapped up in it. They would make nice christmas gifts, doesn't have to be only for the pool. Did you also pick up the free appliques or did you have them, already? I thought the pink inside the coons ears was pretty and the bug is so cute!
Thanks, Toogie...I believe I just might do these for the kiddles...I still need to get the appliques...
I thought about these for my bus kids, or the pillowcases, for christmas. Fortunately, I don't have a bus full!-lol
I think it looks great the way it is. Love it. Hugs.
Thank you for looking. I know when my son was young, he didn't like a lot of color. Shirts were blue, gray or black......boring-lol
Looks great, I like how you did the appliqué leaving the fabric out in some places!
It may look like that, but actually the gray fleece I used, is almost the exact shade of the towel. The whole applique has other fabrics, some fleece, some cotton.
Click on second photo, so it will enlarge and you can see the difference, in the grays. One thing I did do however. When I put the black fleece for the mask, I used a large enough black to cover the mask, eyes, nose. When it stitched the white, I trimmed around the white, but I didn't add more black for the next step for eyes and nose. It was already there with the mask. Does that make sense to you? I stitched the steps/thread colors satin stitch, but I didn't have to add little pieces for the black eyes and nose.
I love this,so cute. Prefect design for a gray towel.
I have register on the site to get this design. Keeps coming up invalid password, and I don't even get a email from them to get a new one. How disappointing.
