I need something like the embrilliance thumbnailer to view my designs but aren't there a few others? What is the best in your opinion?

Thanks

I like for quick and easy a FREE from OESD Art.sizer. I don't need my dongle to look at designs, can flip horizontal, verticle, resize up and down, send to machine, save as to thumbdrive, computer in multiple formats. It gives size, # colors, stitch count and when resize changes stitch count up or down.

I like Embird Iconizer too. Love the things I can do with the Embird Basic too (you have to have Basic to get Iconizer).

I use Buzz Explore. I can view my designs, view and print color charts, convert formats. I have Buzz Explore 2 and can download to a card or a USB stick directly. I think it is a great all around program. Hope this info helps.

I like SewIconz. It works well, it is not too expensive, it shows the thumbnail pictures of all my designs and it doesn't make my computer hang/freeze or blue-screen like one of the other ones I tried.
It also allows you to view designs still in a zipped file. Just open the folder and select the design to preview it.
I will add a picture of one of my files still inside a zipped folder but opened without unzipping it to view it.
You can find it at the link Chris (pennifold) gave.

I have SewIconz and SewWhatPro, and the support at the yahoo group is the best anywhere. It's personal, constantly improving-a lot due to what people ask for, can't beat it. You not only see the design, but the size and the stitch count and # of colors.

I go along with everything Jo has said. Both great programs

I use BuzzXplore, and like it very much for viewing and organizing my designs.

I'm a big fan of SewWhat-Pro. I am sure there will be many others to come along with different suggestions. Steve the man you deal with is very accommodating. Love Chris

Thanks I knew of others but drew a blank as to what they were called

Sounds good. How does it compare with the basic Embird. program?

pennifold by pennifold 09 Oct 2014

Thanks to Rescuer - it's the Iconizer from Sands computing that I use. As Rescuer states it's called SewIconz - I love it as I can see straight away what the embroidery design is. Thanks once again, love Chris

Chris, I also have SewWhatPro and love it too! I especially like the reasonable pricing of the software. I would be lost without instantly seeing the designs...opening each one in another program is too much time for me.
