I see my hand embroidered quilt got re-discovered after many years of being hidden in the archives. I do remember my efforts to post it. I have never been good at posting my projects and took several attempts before I finally succeeded in posting it. That is why I was asking for forgiveness. It is all hand embroidered and quilted. it took me 3 years to finish and it is on my bed as I type. I love to do hand embroidery as much as I love machine embroidery. I have another hand embroidered quilt top in the works and want to machine embroider the backing so the quilt will be reversible. I am promising myself I will finish it next year. Thanks for admiring a project that I am proud of displaying.

It is so beautiful, I am sure the one you are working on now will be as impressive. Hand quilted... or hand embroidered! Beautiful!

I agree! While I didn't post much during that time...that was one Project that had and still has my attention and flowers.

I saw it in Projects and it is gorgeous Karen! Such beautiful work. I am afraid I would have never finished it. I get bored, doing the same over and over, reminds me of my sewing days at the factory. I'm glad you persevered to the end.

I'm like you I love hand embroidery and take it with me if I travel. Keeps the hands busy and breaks the ice in some places...keeps me from getting nervous. :-)

I used to do all this by hand, but since I have a embroidery machine those kits or fabrics are collecting dust. I knit or crochet in front of the TV.
