Where did you get this perfect pumpkin?
One of our moderators very kindly let me have it. The pumpkin is her own design.
Beautiful pumpkin patch and a great labor of love. I hope you get finished.
Very impressive! This is a lot of work to take on. You have a heart of gold to do all this. I'm sure you'll get them done soon.
great start, keeping my fingers crossed that your machine problem vanishes in pure perfect runing sounds to stitch on
wow this is wonderful Sarah! these kids will be very happy with their personalized bags!~hugs~
Lookin good in this neighborhood Sarah. Keep on, keeping on, half finished/Lillian
Cute bags, for a fun birthday! The kids will love these and feel really special, great job. :-)
I hope your machine will be good as new in no time. Horrible to be without one while you have to do another 15.
I'm happy the pumpkin looks so nice on the black fabric! Your bags look beautiful.
excellent work keep going girly *****you can now see the finish line right???/hugs
Oh wow they are so cute, Hope you get them finished ok, xx
Shazaam!!! These are awesome...and bigger than I pictured...the colors are great, too...
Sarah, these are wonderful - your hard work will be appreciated!!! hugs to you, Laura*
I think we all wish we could help you with the bags. Kudos to you for doing this for your daughter. They will make the day extra special for the children.
Excellent work on these bags! They are larger than I expected too. I do love the colors and the threads are very nice. I do hope the shop has good news for you and that they might allow you to use a machine while you are there.
Good luck!
A labor of love, to be sure, and so pretty all together like this. Good luck with your machine and your timeline.
You'll probably dream of pumpkins at night! They are wonderful - love the contrast between fabric and embroidery. It seems to glow in the dark - thank you for sharing - Maria
Wow Wow Wow! They look FAAAAAAAAAABULOUS!!! How big are these bags Sarah? Love the orange and the green on the black they stand out so well. I'm so glad that you can get your machine fixed quicker than expected even though you have to go further afield. Good luck, if I was there, I'd be doing them for you. Love Chris
It would be really great having another pair of hands. The finished bag measures 6" x 8". Enough for a few sweets and treats.
what a labour of love for your grandchildren and their friends. Sarah I am impressed as it must be taking you ages to make this lot. Hope your machine is better soon to complete the job
Like the machine case, it was meant to be a simple job. Just doing the names has taken ages. DH thinks I am totally mad!!!
Don't want to make advertisement but since I know how to use the BX-files (free software) and some of the designers give them to you as an extra-format to their alphabets (Jolson or Designs by Juju) it is fun to arrange names. It takes only seconds and you can do all names very fast. Otherwise it is sooo much time to assemble all the different names, I agree - Maria
Oh, wow, Sarah.......your daughter owes you extra hugs for all this work! These look wonderful! I was in a pinch once needing pillowcases for a wedding for a client and my Bernina was in the shop, I called the shop and asked if I could use one of their machines, so 40 miles later I was at their store stitching the pillowcases....I had downloaded the design onto a usb stick then uploaded it onto one of their machines......maybe this could be an option when you drop your machine off on Friday?
