I would like to thank all cuties for comments and flowers on my projects for the Operation Christmas Child Shoe Boxes.

I would like to tell a lovely story told to us at the Launch a couple of months back.
A lady was watching a little girl unpack her box last year. As she took each item out of her box she would say "that is nice" She got to the end of her box and then said " But what I really wanted was a Mummy and Daddy" There was a photo of the lady that had packed the box, so the lady watching the little girl said "why don't you write a letter to that lovely lady" The little girl wrote the letter not knowing the couple could not have children and dearly wanted to adopt a child. The story ended with the little girl getting her dearest Christmas wish. It brought tears to the eyes of every one in the room. Just shows God does work wonderful miracles.

What an inspiring story to start with our annual shoe boxes. I love filling these shoe boxes with all the goodies listed & also pop in an embroidered face cloth or guest towel.

Thanks. I do not fill boxes I just make small items as fillers as some boxes have things that need to be taken out at the check point and they need something else to take there place. Hugs

Amazing story, tears weren't only in the eyes of those present. There was a need; some one planted the seed and God cemented the deed! :-)
