Gosh, I have a collections of photos of how people used the snowmen. I think I got it from postings on this forum. Also. that website has some photos too. My personal favorites are the ones that are used in quilts, like yours! Nicely done!
That's pretty, Loralye! I would add a bit of red, but it's a matter of personal preference.
Hugs, Lidia
Dear Carolyn, please, pretty please, where did you get that awesome Snowflake Fabric from? I'm not sure if you are aware or not, but my annual Christmas ladies luncheon this year's theme is Snowflakes! Can you help me out with where to buy it? Love Chris
Have you tried Craft Depot Chris, I'll take another look at their email catalogue for you..
I doubt very much that Carolyn can tell you where I got it from lol. I bought quite a few from the line & I can tell you that it feels so soft & silkie like not silk of course but so like it. "Makin' New Friends" by Deb Strain for Moda modafabrics.com I bought it @ our local quilt store last year & she has since closed. I do hope that you have good luck finding it.~hugs Loralye~
Looks so nice as you have it. If a border I would add the frozen blue color or white.
Lovely! I think white might be a contender to showcase these little beauties. :-)
Looks Great!!! Love the snowflake material!!! Wonderful job. May start one after I get my Christmas Gifts all made. Hugs, Judy
I love but just for fun put white over the 4 outside pieces just to see if it pops up more .
You know me always trying:):)
also you could do table runner and place mats love snowmen hugs
thank you my friend. I have 12 blocks in all so will see what it looks like when they are all together.
~hugs~
Great job with this. I agree these snowmen and their sayings can be used a all sorts of items.
wow, that is going to be gorgeous Loralye! Personally, I wouldn't add another color. I like it the way it is. But, heck, if you put another color I would probably love that too! lol. Maybe a skinny strip of the white around each square to frame it off? Love what you did already. Can't wait to see them all done! ***Hugs and Flowers to you***
