They turned out great! No one would know if you hadn't told! I like the way you accented the strips in the top and the loops!
Is there no end to your creativity Sue? The curtains look beautiful and the colouring goes so well with the tiles. Great work using an old duvet cover
Looks pretty and your new bathroom looks great too. Hugs. Nan W
They look great! There is nothing wrong to holding on for the future and I'm sure you knew you had to make these when you bought the cover..
Lovely! It never hurts to keep things for a future use!!
Hugs, Nadyne
Love the fine detail sewing in these Sue, you've done an excellent job. Love Chris
Great job, looks very nice. You were just saving for a rainy day and found one. :-)
Great and glad I am not the only one keeps "things" for future use!
1974, Wow. I am so proud of you for hanging on to something that long. Great job! Kay
Perfect! Not hoarding, I like to call it collecting! It looks very pretty!
They look great and best of all didn't cost you anything but thread. Hoarding or as I prefer to say repurposing is wonderful.
Very pretty. My grandmother had a nice expression that translates as: who saves something has something. So as a obedient GD ... I have some of the M&S duvet covers I bought around the same time - indestructible. But not as nice as yours. Got one with a Union Jack on it. Has not been used since an English teacher at the local school was looking for a flag.
This one was quite well used, but it was only a double and we changed to king size.
Well, you moved it, so you must use it. "It's" now "they're" a perfect fit. I really like the way it looks.
wow your so right! & what a lovely pair you have made it looks perfect here! ~hugs~
