Guess what I have been doing the last few days. On Monday 20th our daughter at Victoria Point Brisbane presented us with a new grandson, Tyler Anthony weighing in at 9lb 1oz. He is absolutely gorgeous. Our eldest daughter went with me to help babysit the big brother aged 13mths. Robyn will have her hands full now. That makes 8 g'sons and 2 g'daughters. I will go back up when her partner goes back to work.

I am really pleased to hear that Yoriko got her new job. Am wondering which Nursing Home. Hugs Marg

Congratulations with the new grandson. My son #1 and daughter #2 have the same age difference (13 months and 3 days to be precise) and they are still very close. I know I found it great fun then, but I would not cope so well now! I am glad you don't have to look after the older one alone.

Thanks. I am sure they will grow up best of buddies. My brother and I are 16mths apart and even now he and I are very close. At 70 I have slowed down, the lifting is the worst part. The hugging I can do. Hugs Marg

Congratulations on the new addition to the family. Tyler Anthony is a good sized boy and of course gorgous. I am glad you you were able to get some hugging time in with his bigger brother. Enjoy

Congrats!!
Read another comment - don't need a double pram for that size baby just an old fashioned steelcraft stroller when he gets older. That is what I used for my youngest who was the same size. The umbrella strollers are way too weak for a hefty boy!!
I am sure that your daughter has a good pram/stroller for him.
Distance is a killer here in Australia, nobody lives next door!! I am planning to fly to Brisbane to spend a long weekend with my 'little' sister next month. It is so hard to organise time together when we live so far apart and have busy lives. (Neither of us have made the Grandma stakes as yet, kids are too busy trying to stay young)
Hoping to have some nice embroidery to take to her as a housewarming for her new house.

Woohoo! Marg, congratulations on Number 10! You will soon be catching up to Pauline. Robyn will have her hands full with 2 little ones up 13 months, but hey, being a parent is for the young. Hope you are having a wonderful time with the family. Love Chris

Thank you Chris. I must have been tired when I wrote this post, miscounted there are 7 boys. Making it 9 grandies. LOL. Will never catch Pauline, don't think I want too. Robyn is our youngest and is 35. Hugs Marg
