Hi ladies, I have a dilemma. Brother in law is raising 3 grandsons, 12yrs, 15yrs, and 18yrs old. Their father is an addict, but has sort of straightened up and has been a big part of their lives, as much as possible. Anyway, he passed away last week and of course the boys are grief stricken. I thought of sending them each a note with a FSL angel inside, but to me most angels seem "feminine." Should I send them anyway or does anyone have a better idea? Thanks and hugs. Nan W

There is a boy angel at Dollar Stitch. I have it and it stitches out great. You might like to look at it. It may be just what you are looking for and it's not too expensive. It has writing on it but you can leave that off. You can also do a search like google and look for fsl boy angel and that will bring up many sites. Takes time to search though. Good luck. So sorry for those boys, hard enough to live without parents even if they aren't exactly the best. Blessings to them and their care takers.

Maybe a design like the one at the link might work. My brothers have things they cherish that represent some of my dad's favorite things. If their dad liked old cars, music, fishing, motorcycles...etc. Then maybe a design depicting one of those things would help them.

Angels are for everyone. It doesn't have to look male or female (actually, they are neither.) They are angels. I think they will appreciate the fact that you are thinking of them. If you don't want to send them an angel, a fsl cross bookmark would also be nice. Prayers for this family.

I would send them the angels. That way they know not only you are thinking of them ,but the angels are also looking out for them. It must be very hard for your brother-in-law. God bless him for giving them a home and love. Hugs Lynn
