cuties to the rescue please! Hubby has called & asked me if I could please (yup he said please) make him up a different costume a manly one LOL He was going to go dressed as a woman but has changed his mind. I have decided to make a pirate costume & have made him a pair of brown elastic pants (not that manly I'm afraid but with out a pattern & being I have to do this tonight it is what it is) we may loose our hydro tomorrow or the next day so I can't take any chances & have to do it now. I made the pants what can I do now? I am blank I don't know what else to sew?

If you are truly still stuck, Google "pirate" and then go to images. You'll have more ideas than you know what to do with. But something will "click" in your brain and you'll know exactly what you have to do. Do you have a wig that he could wear so he has long hair with a bandana? Good luck with what you decide. We are going as ourselves. I think that is scary enough. :)

If you need to see pictures of the pirate boots you may try looking up Pirates of the Caribbean on the internet. Generally they were black knee high boots. Hopefully you can make almost a cuff for the boot that would fold over over the top part of his boot and can be made long enough to give some extra height to the boot, plus cover up a bit in case they are screaming cowboy. Hope you both have a great time!

A colorful vest also to go over the white shirt and if has boots, make some inserts that would hang over live the boots were folded down.

For a pirate, a bandanna, white shirt with rolled sleeves and a penciled in mustache. Maybe a cardboard sword, boots if he has them. He is all set!!!

A white shirt, long sleeved with sleeves rolled to elbows. An eye patch and a bandana around his head.
