Hi Berny, I find the same problem. I've got the Husqvarna Designer 1 and the Brother Innovis Eye 6700D - I loved the one you have bought because of all the great extra things it does, but very expensive here in Australia $12,000.00 (Australian Dollars). Congratulations on purchasing the Dream Machine. When I go to the Newcastle Sewing guild meetings I actually take the Husqvarna as it is lighter than the Brother - they are so heavy! Good luck with your project choice for Blackpool. I'm sure it will be wonderful. Enjoy your new machine when it's all unpacked. Love Chris

Chris its equally expensive in the UK

I had to wait till I retired to get my Brother and the pity of it is that there are always bigger and better models being made. As soon as one gets a new model, no sooner are they making a newer one! I think it's the same with all technology these days! Love Chris

I'd be out of my mind if I couldn't open it. Just to look at it if nothing else. I can't wait for anything.

Congrats to you on your new machine. Is there someone who can help you at and at the destination to pick up and carry the machine? I have the same problem with my machines. They are all big and heavy for my unhappy spine. Have a wonderful time.
