this question is for the digitizers: Can you tell me please when you create a stipple design what do you put your stitch count @? Thanks In Advance. I have mine set @ 8 but I think it may be to small? Lower is smaller or is it higher? This is what I have & I think that it is too much for a placemat so what I would like to know is how can I make this a bigger stipple without making the stitches to big? Does this make sense?

I think I got it thank you so much! I am going to try it out. I am going from over 4500 stitches to not quite 2000 so a good difference. I am so excited thank you for your help!

my penny: in general I would like to set my embird to 2,5mm so I would have round about 10 stiches to the inch, with a thicker batting I would try 3mm or 3.5 and test stitch with the batting if it works our, sorry but no real time knowledge here but working on the quilting ITH

you want the stripple to go larger, further apart and the stitch length stays the same ? In embrid I would set the size of the whole stippel much larger (to wish) and then alter the parameters of the stitch length

Hi Lor...if you are in MBX, you can set the stitch length and the distance between the stippling lines...the higher the numbers the larger the stitches and the further away the stitch stipple lines are (hope this makes sense...)

I'm not sure what program you are using. In Embird, you can set the actual stitch length eg 2mm. I like to be able to see the stitches!
