Here is a photo of my latest painting. Again my tutor was Jayne Good and I learnt some more techniques that i can try out on my own.

Very lovely, you have a natural talent. Enjoy painting, as with any artist it is very soothing to get totally immersed in your craft.

Good job. Good luck with doing some more paintings.
There is a very good teacher of oils on the TV (Channel 44, TVS in Sydney) at present -- "Masterclass in Oils with Ken Harris", for the folk in Australia.

It's lovely. I have a lot of ocean paintings brought home from summer vacations at the shore. And we used to watch Bob Ross on the tv. He was a very good, patient teacher, making "happy little trees" as he dabbed paint on the canvas . A magical talent you have.

Yes , you have found a new talent!!! great job. My daughter , sister , mother and Great grandmother were all artists and I asked my Mom why I was left out and she said my talent was with fabric, and I do love fabric!!!! my college major was textiles and clothing and I still love fabric.

Oh Annie, did you always know you could do this or did you just get started? It's beautiful. I love the water. I also love the mountains. Here is a painting my sister-in-law painted for me about 30 years ago. She has been deceased now, almost 9 years, but her work lives on. I am so happy you are enjoying life to the fullest.-Toogie

Toogie this is only the second painting i have done and it is all down to the wonderful tutor in who's studio the photo was taken . The paintings in the back ground are hers but i am going to go solo painting soon and have a go at making some small ones for Xmas gifts

toogie by toogie 12 Nov 2014

You are too humble. Even with an instructor, I'm sure she would get nothing out of me. I can't (hardly) draw a straight line with a ruler-lol- I'm sure solo will be no problem for you and anyone receiving your first works,as a christmas gift, should be thrilled.

look on the web and see if there is a Bob Ross tutor near you and go and have a day with them. I know that you will enjoy the day and go back home with a painting you will be proud of, this is only the second one i have ever painted.
You use one and two inch paint brushes a large pallet knife and a fan brush and that is all you need. Please try, it is so very rewarding and you can go one from there.
