Meant to say I have had good results with Dressmakers interfacing. Sometimes I want to make something and it will be when the shops are shut.
You didn't say what type of fabric you are using so bit hard to say what would work for you. If you are in a major city you could try Spotlight or Lincraft. I have a fabulous shop near by that is like an Alladins cave. If anyone is from Brisbane I will tell you where.
Check out Marathon Threads Australia. They are in Melbourne and you can order on line.
I'm in Australia too and I buy mine from Designs By Sick because even with the postage cost, it still works out cheaper than buying here in Oz.
At our retreats (the last 2 years), our dealer had us use a iron on interfacing, because it was so expensive to use no show mesh, for our quilts. It is at JoAnn's for .99cents a yard. I don't know what material your putting it on, we used it on calico's for the quilts. I have used it for other things since. If you have a JoAnn's and have a 50% off coupon, cheap. I just tried to take a picture of bolt, but it won't come in clear. Hope this helps. Sandy
Hi Sophie, I buy all my stabilisers from CreekCreations in Melbourne Victoria and have found them very professional with the promptness of their delivery. I don't know where you live in Australia, but you could give them a call. Love Chris
I'm thinking, find it in quantity for a better price. My source is sewingmachine. com and their prices are great on stabilizers and thread big cones. Good luck and happy stitching.
Hi contessa.... did you think to search on line for "no show mesh alternative"? You might find your answer!
