Fabulous gifts and card.....I also have the silhouette and have not had much time to play with it.....you have it nailed!!
Thank you! Actually I tried another free card in the library twice and failed. This one is relatively easier and it has a picture of the finished card, so I figured out I can't cut all the shapes in one color.
For the card kits, I learned that you almost always need to ungroup the shapes and cut them separately if some of the shapes are for overlay, for example, in this card, the candle and the trims on the gift cards.
I've learned a lot after watching the videos and I think I'll try the failed card again.
That is all so pretty and precious.. She will be dancing over the moon..
Wow, I would expect the cameo has a definite learning curve. Beautiful!
It's not really that difficult and there's a lot of good free resources on line. So many videos on youtube, which I have been watching for a couple of days now. I'd say it's a lot easier to learn than to digitize!
You have made a beautiful gift set, Noa should be thrilled.
Hugs, Lidia
Lovely set. She will be so happy with this gift. Hugs
Lovely set and very pretty card. I should start using my Silhouette Cameo, I only used it once when I'd just bought. Must buy something for Christmas cards and get going!
Thank you! It's a design I bought today. Not familiar with the designer studio software. Will try to make my own design in the future.
I am the same way--I bought the machine a year ago and did one applique with it. Cut some letters for an event and haven't touched it for a year. Finally I decided to explore it more. Busy watching video and reading tutorials now. There's so much it can do! I really should make the most of it.
I really should take time to practice but there are always seem to be so many things that need to be done first.
