The race, this past Saturday, had 350 runners. This was the 3rd year. Don't know the total they brought in, but the silent auction had donations ranging from a crocheted butterfly to a week's stay at a cabin in Maine! Aprons, cakes, signed footballs from a pro player, ballet lessons, and on and on. The post and three flags ended up going for $60.00. Was hoping for more, but the wood was scrap and the fabric was from my stash, so only had our time invested.
100% of the proceeds goes to help families who are in the process of adoption. My daughter has 3 adopted children, so this is very dear to our hearts! Thanks for the nice comments on my flags.
