On my end with windows 7 everything worked after giving Quicktime permission to run. Very interresting.
I have Windows 8.1. Just had to allow Windows Media Player to run and everything is working fine. Hugs Marg
A good site for figuring out things like this is CNET. Also, you can send them questions for help as well.
In the area where the slideshow would run was a message to install QuickTime. I tried to do that but it can't be installed on a Windows machine. You are going to have to find something that works with MACS and Windows. I Googled slideshow that works on Mac and Windows and a couple came up but they have different versions for Windows vs MAC. If you aren't a programmer, I would find a site that does what you want and either look at their code or write to them and ask them how they are doing it.
Good luck..
On my windows 7 I have QuickTime installed. It asked for permission to run and everything worked.
It works fine for me using windows 7. It is a very nice site!!!
before you go worked for me was slow to change the photos I am using windows 7
The Before you Go is on a different site, Isn't it nice?! The slide show is that black space on the right... maybe it didn't work for you? Thanks for checking!
The link works and some of the subjects I clicked on. I'm just not sure what to click on for the slideshow. This is very interesting and am glad you had problems-lol- so I could read about them. I will have to go back later and read some more. My dad served in Korean war and my uncle was killed there, when he sacrificially jumped on a live grenade, saving his men. His mom was awarded his purple heart, posthumously. My husband served during the Vietnam Conflict. Thank your dad for me, for serving for us.
Wow, Toogie, your Uncle was quite a HERO! Your Dad too was willing to give it all, and i'm so glad he didn't have too. Please thank your husband for serving in Viet Nam. I'll send on your message for my dad! This website is his passion now.
Hope it was alright to take a peek. The only item that didn't work for me, is the one beside these words. Hope I didn't do anything wrong in copying them it was just easier to explain.
Thank your Dad and your family for his service and theirs. Site is very impressive. My dad also served and so much of the what the song says is true. It brought tears to my eyes. Thank for sharing and hope this helps.
This site is dedicated to preserving the rich history of the 96th Infantry Division of WWII and its current members -
"The Deadeyes." It says inside the box...activate quick time.
That is the slide show and it looks like it didn't work for you.. I wonder what it means to activate Quick Time... Thanks for checking.
