not embroidery but thinking outside the box...... we finally got the blinds for the "new" kitchen & I asked when we had them cut if I could keep the remnant they were surprised but gave it to me pic #1 this is the top that is extra I had to make the rod ends a little bigger to fit my window but just a tiny bit.... I used the sample pc of flooring that we got for the bathroom upgrade & cut it to fit the end of my rod & used duct tape to secure it until it dries. A good start.......Now how to make this small pc wider to fit hallway window............I thought about sewing the lace on then figured it would leave big holes so that was no good so I decided to hot glue the lace to both sides. I remembered to put newspaper underneath so as not to get glue on my ironing board lol. Pic #3 the end pc was not straight across because remember this is the leftover bit so I decided to glue the fold under & put the lace over top. I am not going to be pulling it up since I glued that section down too & #4 it fits in the window & looks prettier then the back of the drape lining LOL what do you think? & would you have done it differently?

What a clever girl you are, I wouldn't have thought to ask for the off cut..

Interesting- although-from the looks of it-the back of your drape is also white too isn't it?
