Problem solved.

How about making her an Infinity scarf? I bought some nice multi-color fabric that will go with many outfits. It's personal & handmade. My family & friends love getting my handmade kitchen towels (dish AND hand), dishrags with scrubbies built in, pot-holders, and bowl cozies. All useful, fun AND ... bonus ...they don't last forever so I can make them a nice gift again in a year or two! I am also in love with gel rugs for my kitchen and bathroom. What a luxury.

Made her a scarf Christmas before last. It was a winter scarf. She loved it so much she wore it all day and the temp was 26C. Made her a Kitchen towel for her last Birthday with her Favourite dog on it. Will just have to rethink everything. Thanks.

What about a gift certificate to a nail salon or to a beauty salon for a relaxing facial or something along that line, she would treat herself to a hour or two of pampering..

Thanks, Will give this some thought.

Perfume is such a personal thing. A scent can be so different on different skins. I would never buy one as a surprise unless you know exactly the brand.

Her Daughter is going to sus her out for me.

Lyn, my SIL gave me perfume for my birthday. It is Rihanna. 3 small bottles in the pack. The red bottle is my favourite. Do not know the price though. Google it. Hugs Marg

I do not want to be a killjoy, but i would never buy a woman perfume unless you know that it was her favorite. Girls are so strange about their perfume. Maybe a gift certificate to her favorite store. Kay

I have asked her Daughter but she has not come back to me as yet. Thanks anyhow. I don't use a lot of perfume these days so don't know what is around.

How old is she? Single? Married? Sophisticated and strong or light and airy?

She is Single now. Strong as she bought her Daughter up by herself as he walked out when the baby (now 28) was 1 year old. Step Daughter is 46.
