How many of you go on a magical carpet ride to see where your secret sister /Santa lives.

I always have a peak at the home addresse as i love to see new places I also use my magic carpet when going to travel to new places so that i can see what the area is and how far i am away from towns or beaches.
I have just flown over my secret Santa's home and it looks wonderful with fantastic scenery. I flew to the top of the hill and looked back over the forest towards the river and can picture her walking along the road.
Thank you Google earth for allowing me to visit so many wonderful places that i would never otherwise see.

Hi Annie, I've been doing this for years and always have a look at the places our Cuties live in (that's of course if I have their addresses). Some of them we can look at from above, but when it comes to going to street view it doesn't do it. It's an amazing piece of technology. I love Google Earth. Love Chris

If you pull the little man down to street level then it should show you the actual houses that is if the google car has gone along the road

download Google earth. put in the postcode or area that you want to visit you can even put in the street/ road name and area hit search and you will be taken to the place and allowed to land you can even bring the little man down to street level and drive along the roads if the Google car has been along them, stop and turn to look at the shops and houses and even see some folk walking along.
put in Shell island UK and take a look at where i love to spend time . you can't drive onto the island but you can over fly it

the other thing you can use it for is finding out how far it is to a destination and how long it will take you plus get directions
I use it to plan my ta ta trips so i can see how much petrol i will need and how long it will take me and even what i may see on route
Next year I want to go to the Isle of Sky and I know i will have to save a lot of money just to drive there but it will be worth it if i can make it

What a great idea, Annie! I'll have to get my broomstick out.

You'll have to find another mode of travel! All broomsticks have been retired until next Oct. Maybe Santa will loan you a reindeer. lol
