No only would hooping this be difficult, but getting it centered in the hoop would be my nightmare too., let alone getting it under the needle. Well done! You are one brave soul!
What an incredible feat. You are so brave trying to hoop something like this but it is incredible.
Great job Jerrilyn...and I especially love the backwards selfie!
Excellent work and brave to try it on this puffy vest! Took me a while to realise the obvious, that the letter is of course a mirror image. Had a look at the font - it's lovely and the largest size is really LARGE.
What pretty hair you have Jerrilyn. Well done for taking a picture of your back! The vest looks fabulous, you've done a marvellous job. Love Chris
You are brave. When I have done embroidery on jackets my heart goes faster. You did a good work
Excellent work! You always try the most difficult things and they come out beautifully! You inspire me to stitch...but not a vest. I am not as brave as you are. ;)
Great job!!! Just hoop the stabilizer and pin the vest to top. I can not believe you hooped It!!! Kay
Ahha your trying my trick works out ok though lol
nice job on your vest.I never hoop anything thick i hope thick tearaway and then pin my vest to that all around the edge.Thats easy on a sore write to :):)hugs
The reason that I hooped this is so that the hoop would help press down the puffiness and I wouldn't have as many wrinkles since this is a gift. I pinned it down on my test stitch (my vest) and it was a bit of a mess and I had pinned it very close with pins touching.
But hooping all these thick items is stretching out your hoop.
Viking makes a hoop with a separate inner hoop especially for this, actually made for quilting sandwiches. Hugs. Nan W
Now this is something that I would never have thought of doing so well done as it looks great.
It looks great. I am doing winter coats for a towing company, and they also are very hard to hoop. It just take patience. Hugs Lynn
