I made these for Mr. Grayson & I was not sure that I could follow the "instructions" all that well so I decided to try without embroidery to see if I could make them. One is slightly bigger then the other but I think I have the hang of it & will try them again with a design. It doesn't say what size to make the ribbing so I guessed? They are fleece with flannel inside so quite warm & toasty

A rule of thumb with ribbing is you make 2/3rds the length of what you are putting it on to.
An example would be if the wrist of the mittens measured 12 inches you would cut the ribbing 8 inches. You then slightly stretch the ribbing to fit as you sew.

I would say a little smaller ribbing. I like my gloves to fit snug. But look great.
