I use a Mac and have the Embrilliance software. I am not really good with computers but I find the Embrilliance software is easy to follow. I am still learning new things everytime I embroider. I live in Australia and have the Oz version and the guy who invented was at a embroidery session and we were shown what Embrilliance could do. I have built my Embrilliance software up buying one program at a time. The backup and support from Embrilliance is very good
Do a repair install on your PC. It will stop the blue screens (most of the time).
I think there is more than one user here with a Mac. I hope they see this and can answer your questions.
I have Embrilliance and the add ons except digitizing. I love it. And the customer service is terrific. You can download both MAC and PC versions for both your computers. And no dongle to worry about losing or breaking. Hugs. Nan Weber
Go to the Embrilliance site and ask the forum or send an email. They are very helpful.
I'd ask the developers that question.
Unfortunately Husqvarna/Pfaff (or rather VSM) has decided to make a separate programme for Mac and 5D or 6D can not be used on it. Neither do they offer a reasonably priced upgrade from one to the other.
Yep, spending thousands of dollars more to get a OSX compatible version, just isn't in my budget. And having to "upgrade" 5D to 6D or loose support after a few years, is poor business policy as far as I'm concerned.
I know the Embrilliance Thumbnailer works with Mac, but have no experience with the other programs. I would think that info would be at the Embrilliance site.
Thanks. I've been to the site - I was hoping to get some insight from someone who wasn't trying to sell me the program, LOL.
