I have an idea that these may be useful for hospitalized kids or for those suffering with traumas, especially if there are varied expressions to mimic their feelings. Even if thrown in anger, what's the harm?
Judy
Thanks, Judy...I have another Cutie who has used these for exactly that purpose...to help a young girl burned in a fire..they were a great uplifting treat for her and her family..and I was so happy I helped play a small part in her recovery...I hope you enjoy them, too!
i love the faces - and those eye lashes - we dont get snow at all where i come from - what I love about these is the shape - great design
I love the snowballs and the names makes it so specials.
Cloreta
Thank you, Cloreta, for your kind words and taking the time to make your post!
Your welcome and Thanks for showing us your pictures. Very lucky family to have a lovely lady as you.
Cloreta
Super cute. Certainly brings a smile to me. They all have such gorgeous expressions.
Just discovered these. They are so cute, where can I get the pattern for the ball and the faces.
After many months of recovering from surgery, finally I feel like stitching again. Living in Florida, we have no snow. However a bit of a cool snap has moved into our area with highs around 64 and lows 40's. Burrr, for us that's chilly. LOL
All during the last months I try to come to Cute every week or so and admire all the lovely projects y'all are making and give flowers to keep your gardens growing. When I saw these adorable snow kids, they were so perfect for Florida.
Thank you so much Kim for these lovely little treasures that bring me smiles that are much needed these days. You're an angel and I'm thankful you are watching over me. A part of you will always be with me with all your lovely designs past and present.
Love and huggers!
PS: I have a lot of catching up to do, so I hope y'all will be patient. :-)
Thanks so much Mary Ann...I so glad you are up to stitching again and so glad you will be able to stitch up these fun Snowkids for your "Blizzard in Florida"...can't wait to see you "Kids" posted here in Projects...Hugs...Kim
Missed this during my vacation, cute little boys, we have no snow there this time so I will make my own next time;-)
they are so cute Kim , how I wish we could have some real snow balls here
Now that is a pile of fun waiting to happen. You are so clever!
love those face, can I get them anywhere?, I have others but just love those faces!!!! What a great job!!!!
These are awesome. I can see my ornaments being knocked off the tree in a "snowball fight"!
great idea to use the shape of the parts of a tennisball, without checking, that's two pieces in the shape of a fat figure 8. I've used four parts to make a ball but I like your idea better.
the faces are funny, nice variations!
Thanks, Martine...It is nice to only have two pieces of fleece and only one continuous seam...and yes you are correct about the shape!
Love the facial expressions. Those eyelashes are adorable. Mustaches are big right now too. Would be cutd to have snowball done that way too. Can see one with a little top hat or toque on it. LOL I could so get into making these as they are just too cute!!!
It will be a blast at your house Christmas morning. I think I may do the same. I made some last year without faces and used my pumpkin design which made them not round, however more like a real snowball.
Aren't you the clever!!! My Florida family would love theses!! I especially love the eye brows and lashes - sooooooo cute! You can never go wrong with personalized gift - they will LOVE it!!! Well done! What fun, Hugs, Laura*
Thanks, Laura...I try to give my kiddles a new stuffie each year for Christmas...
So neat!!! Am sure they will be one of the favorite gifts this year! Be sure & duck when they come flying by you!!
He he he...... love them, they are so cute!
Hugs, Lidia
What fun! You have great ideas!
I am looking forward to the return of the DBC. There will be some wonderful new designs...

Here is a You Tube video to make hats for the snowballs.
Your snowballs are so cute. Thank you for sharing. This just reminded me of my brother & sister in laws children. One year we had the family Christmas Eve get together early and when Christmas Eve came along their children didn't know what to do. They started to toss the coaster that I made them around. Would be great if they were snowballs.
Thank again for sharing. Happy snowball fun.
love these. want to make for my elem. bus students, do you have a pattern and where can I get the faces from?
These are so cute. Would make for some great fun Christmas day, or any other day for that matter. I would love a pattern and the faces too if you decide to make them available to purchase. :)
Thank you for your kind words...I so appreciate your comments, but I do not sell my designs..too much trouble...
Sorry to hear that. I am sure they would be popular as these are such lovely snowman faces. Thank you for showing them :)
Oh, my goodness! These are the cutest little snowballs ever! Exactly my kind of snow ;) I love their expressive faces! You really have a cute idea for a snowy Christmas morning!
Love these my Grankids would love them. Great for Christmas morning but I'm sure they will be alot of fun anytime. Would love the design. Arlene
These will be a treat on Christmas morning! Is the fabric able to get wet? if so a water soaked treat for a hot day..
Thanks...and yes, they can get wet and are totally washable...throw in washer and then dryer and then....begin the snowball fight again...I had to make them baby drool proof!
Beautiful idea until they get thrown he he GREAT job and adorable!!
Too Cute!! Well done. I am sure it will be a hit on Christmas morning. :-)
How cute. Now those are the kind of snowballs I wouldn't mind being hit with
You always have the cutest ideas! This is great, especially for the ball players in the family!
They turned out great! I'm making the smaller size of Charming Station's version...only 11. I saw on Facebook that someone was up to 200 for a craft show! Read that they are fun where people work in office cubicles :) Ha!
Cute faces, and nice to have personalized them. For those wanting to make their own, Gigi of Charming Station has 2 sizes (I've made the larger, ball sized, and have the smaller to do) and Reen of Embroidery Garden now has a set. They are a big hit, stay out all year round at my son's!
Jo
Thanks, I thought the personalization would be a great remembrance...sounds like there is snow everywhere!
These are great. My grandkids would love them. Are you going to post the designs or instructions?
These are awesome. Great job !!!!
Wish that was the only snow we ever got. Hugs
Love your snowballs. Your Christmas morning should be fun.
Merry Christmas and Happy Snowball fun. Happy Stitching
well done Kim you are way ahead of me lol they all look so much easier this way too
These are great! My little friend in So Cal would love these, she is getting embroidered snowflakes.
Thanks, Leaha...it's the only snow I will see where I live for sure...together we could have a "snow fest"...
These are wonderful and you won't get hurt when throwing them at each other! Love Chris
Fabulous! I wish I could join you for the fight!
Great fun you'll have! This is a wonderful idea, we normally have snow Christmas mornings, but some times we have a brown Christmas too.
Love it :)
Are these done ith? They are so cute!
Linda
Thanks, Linda...the two pieces of fleece are sewn together on the sewing machine...
Too cute!!! This is the only kind of snow to have!!
