Hi loosie
you make me think at the years spent on the Catskills (NY-USA), it was soooo cold!
One night under the weight of the melting ice the electric wires
snapped and we had to boiled our tea water on a candle's fire!
I love your knitting, original and cozy.
Thanks for the memories.
Greeting from Melbourne, AU.
That's what happened here too, the snow was so heavy it broke lines and poles, we have power now but some don't and the temp is much colder now.
I don't think I've ever seen knit mug cozies before. They really are nicely done. I sometimes wonder how the pilgrims every survived winter.
These are really pretty - glad you are back on the grid!
They are all beautiful! Glad that you got the power back.
Hugs, Lidia
These are beautiful - I do pray that you are keeping warm. We 'downunder' are of course in summer as of tomorrow. Love Chris
You chose a number of beautiful patterns! Glad you can sew again now.
These are neat. Sorry about your power. I've been there, only we heated with power and had a well so no power, no heat or water. Found I could manage with no heat a lot better than I could manage with no water. when They finally got the roads cleared 3 days later, we had to go to a Motel for 5 more days. They gave a special rate to people displaced because of the weather but it was still costly./Lillian
Yeah, no water is a pain, on a well here too.
I melted snow, on the woodstove for potty water, we had bottled water to drink and cook with, but not much.
Very lovely mug cozies. Glad you are snug and warm and your power is back.
Your mug cozies are lovely! I am glad to hear that your power is back on and hopefully, you are once again warm and cozy.
yes i am warm and well it was -25 here and no wind so it was rather nice and the sun shone for half the day.
Your cups look great to:);0hugs
It's very windy here, our pipes are frozen on the north side of the house :(
Glad you are warm and well :)
They are terrific Loosie & I am glad that you power once again. Good thing you have a wood stove & have nice hot stew to keep you fed. ~hugs~
Just reading this makes me want to learn to knit mittens. Brrrr!
These are lovely...great use of your "down" time, too!
