do any victorians aus. know where I can get cheap overlocking (serger) thread the 5000m cones, I get mine from springvale, it is right next to springvale station, but would like somewhere on the other side of melb. we come in on the hume hwy, I pay around $2. per cone , at the moment...wendy

The only one that I know of is in Footscray [Barklay? Road) opposite the Primary School. Prices the same as Springvale. Check under 'industral thread suppliers' for more outlets. there is one in Heidelburg, & several in Abbotsford, & Jacksons on Victoria, near Hoddle. There may be others in Richmond on Victoria. You can purchase direct from the industrial outlets.
