This is for Chris. I don't know what fees you have to pay for fabric from other countries, but Mary Jo's in Gastonia, North Carolina is an awesomely huge fabric store (mostly cottons, but liturgical fabrics, upholstery, dance costume stuff, etc and great trims. They have a web site, maryjo's.com, and an 800- number and are quite responsive to requests. (Example, I'm looking for robots, ballerinas, teeny tiny brown polka dots, tiny holly...) I'm told their shipping is reasonable, although I've only shopped in person.
I have been to this store and it is wonderful!!! My sweetie took a nap in the car in the parking lot and i was in heaven for an hour. Kay
Thanks Grace, just had a look at all the fabrics, but there's nothing there that I like. Love Chris
Ooh! Carolyn, can I raid your fabric stash? I love the Hoffman fabric range. I love the black and red Poinsettia, ribbons and Holly Hoffman fabric and the red and gold (Dashing all the way) as well. Your fabric is so cheap over in Canada/America, we usually have to pay around $22.00+Australian Dollars for a good quality patchwork cotton. Of course we can buy cheaper, but it shows! Love all of them really, thanks so much for showing me. Love Chris
Noah, I believe u are from Canada. Where are you buying your fabric for $7 a yard??? I am from the west coast.
A lady that i camp with has a small store and she buys it from Florida .Shes about 75 minutes from me and i call her and tell her what i like before she goes but****now i don't half to tell her she pretty much knows .She brings it back and we get good /great deals.Yes i am in Northern,Ontario Canada
