I need some clarification please. My sister needs a bag for all her medications to take to hospital every time she goes. So I have undone the dollar store bag & copied the pattern x2 so it will be reversible. My question is this: I will use fusible batting in between both layers but I can't remember if I put it all the way through including the bottom or does it just go on the sides? Any cutie to my rescue with this?

I should have said that I was going to try to make this bottom a box pleat my first try at it this way & here I thought it would be easier lol will this still work with a full batting pc if I make the pleats?

you mean the 1-2 inch square that you cut away right? well That is how I would normally do it but I was thinking of making this as a box pleat bottom?

If you mean this as in my bag, then I cut the batting away the same way (1-2 inch square) so the pleat will not be to thick.

you can put it all the way through Lorayle, that is what I do, it gives the bag a better support. If you only apply batting to the sides, they become heavier and with bottom support, the bag is floppy.
hope this helps

it will have a pinch pleat in the bottom to actually make the bottom rectangle? is this still ok
