What an inspiration you are!! How brave of you to take a cruise even though you knew it would be difficult. A big pat on the back..you did it and you enjoyed it. Great!!
I agree, I am so glad you enjoyed your adventure. It does feel good to come home though.
great you had a good trip. And great you are home and here at cute again !
Glad you made it with few complications Karen. Vertigo , I know can really be rough. I love to cruise but my cruising days I think are over/Lillian
So glad your trip was considered a success...it is always challenging with vertigo...but I still love to cruise!
It sounds quit an adventure and one worth repeating, so happy you were able to handle it and enjoyed the trip. You were missed here as well.
I do hope you just smiled and lifted your glass and said,"Cheers", when you were strolling to and fro through the corridors. You are such a good sport. I'm glad you had fun.
Where was the cruise from & to? next year we plan to do a trip down the Rhine & I also suffer from vertigo which I have had for 30 years most of the time I'm fine (on land that stays still) I'm no good in a small boat or swaying bridges. but its a want to do & I have found that very big ships & calm water I just walk like a drunk person.
A trip down the Rhine has one big advantage over a cruise on the ocean: no waves. And lots of lovely towns to visit.
Yes it is a stunning way to travel. We did a short trip when we went o Germany 2 Years ago. Luv Chris
Glad you had a great time and have survived your wobbly events to let us know about the trip. When a friend retired he contacted one of the large cruise companies and was taken on as a tour guide. He was able to choose the cruises that he went on and then did loads of research and led trips when the liner stopped and also gave lectures. He had the added extra to his CV that he was ordained. he and his wife had a wonderful time over a number of years visiting many parts of the world
