Good luck.. the colours will stitchout nicely but not too sure about the towel colour..
Lyn, I do a lot of towels for family ONLY. I prefer to buy the towels myself, therefore if the machine "stuffs up" they are my towels and I know where I can get more of the same towels. Sometimes as new homes are being built colour schemes can change. Hugs Marg
I have just made a lot of Black Towels as I was told that Black Kitchens are the in Thing. Must take a photo.
I would suggest she supply the towels and then I would get a minimum of 50% deposit for your embroidery charge upfront...I would also select several designs and send her a PDF of them and let her pick the ones she wants...custom orders can be a bit tricky with come customers...
I would ask her to get the towels when she is ready.
I know from experience that the colour they imagine they want isn't always available.
I did some towels for my Cousin a dark Purple and a light Purple. Her friend loved them and wanted me to do some for her. Trouble is she wanted a shade in between those colours. Not available.
I'd show her some of the pictures of towels with material edging-either flat or ruffles, and a design that might include applique using that, but on a white towel so it shows up. Good to plan ahead as long as you can.

I think also it would be better to wait as she may change her mind in between times or the teal color may not be available. it was nice of her to give you a future order and something to appreciate this young woman's good taste!
I can guarantee that she will not come back as I have never seen her before and not sure where or when her house is being built.
