what a horror.. do you know why this happened ? Have any idea how long it will take before it is fixed ? cross my fingers for you !
I am crossing my fingers I hear back from my repair guy any time now & I am hoping it is good news too.
oh no!!!
hope your machine will recover soon, we cannot miss our machine at any time, and certainly not this time of the year...
I know exactly how you feel - my machine bit the dust last week. I would say about 90% of what I had to and 80% of what I wanted to do was finished. Guess it's off to the mall for me..... :-( Hugs*
oh the mall YUCK I feel bad for you but @ least you are close to being done & that is a good thing too. Maybe Santa will fix it for you or get you a new one, fingers crossed!~hugs~
I am sorry to hear this and hope, you have another machine, you can do a lot of things without embroidery, you can make appliquet, can use ribbons ore decorative stitches as well. Before I buyed my Janome MC11000 I had a normal home sewing machine and made appliquet and other embellishment without any hope and do a lot of things today the same way because I work in the same time without hope as with, except embroidery.
that sounds like a very good idea & I will give it a try maybe if I can't get it back soon. Thanks ~hugs~
It is never a good time for our machines to go wrong but Christmas is the worst. Hope you are up and running soon.
Hi, my machine is sick as well. Our technician can only see to it sometime in January!!! How I'm going to get thru this, it don't know. She's like one of my children.
OUCH that is so mean I feel so bad for you that you will be without it for the holidays but it will come back good as NEW! I guess we use this time to crochet read rest UGH I have no idea! ~hugs~
I am sorry that you machine is sick. I came to the conclusion, that it is never a good time when they need to be repaired. Hope you get her back soon without too much expense.
going away on vacation & leaving it @ home is the perfect time for it to get a check up lol & that should be the only time it needs to go to the Dr.'s
O no, lets hope it has a reset button, and it gets back to you soon. so you can whiz up some more stuff.
Hugs Pam.
Bummer...sorry to hear this, Loralye..hope it will be a quick fix...
My machine has done the same thing, it comes up on the screen it needs to be calibrated , so I have put in a call to Bernina tech on his way home to call into mums urgently ....to look at it for me , I have about ten things more to embroider , Cathy
I know what you mean.. been there. fe weeks back. Lucky I could fix it myself
Well glad that you could get him out to repair yours Cathy & Linda glad that you were able to fix yours yourself! wonderful news for you both! ~hugs~
But its a good thing you have a back-up right?I mean a second machine ??hugs
Hope they can fix it so you get it back before Christmas. My machine is acting up also. At the end of each design, the message comes up "design finished" and then the auto thread cutter cuts the thread. Well the needle is staying in the down position and I have to manually raise it. I am working around it but I realize something is wrong. Kay
ststs just when we NEED them the most! It never fails & I am glad that for now @ least you can work around it to finish some things. ~hugs~
