Sorry for you, 200 $ it's lot of money, My emb machine became old buy it's a good horse, work well, so I am lucky
My heart is with you. However, that is much less than to fix mine and then no guarantee. Merry Christmas. Could be worse.
I think most of that 2 weeks will be the Christmas and New Year break time. I did the same with my machine and it took months for the replacement gear to arrive (without Christmas in the middle) as Husqvarna were have problems at the time. Luckily I was told this by a few people in the know at a craft show that I went to at the time it happened and they all warned me.
HUGS! & hope the warranty will cover the cost of the part for you.
Gosh Lor...bad news! But, you machine is not that old and I would think that this repair would be under warranty...it should not cost you anything...perhaps you should contact Janome...
Sorry that your machine decided to take a "break". I would be lost without mine too. Hopefully the parts needed will arrive quickly and you will be back in stitching order sooner than expected!
So sorry to hear this at this time of the year.... Suzanne
Ouch! that's a pretty penny for this time of year, I'm sure you'll wrap you creative mind around the problem and come up with a solution to any unfinished projects.. Marian
So sorry Loralye, my utmost sympathy! I know what it's like not to have your sewing machine working properly. I'm still awaiting my Dongle! Hope you can find other things to do - like what Grace has suggested! Love Chris
wow I didn't think it would take so long either Chris, I hope that you get it first thing in the morning
Ouch - I am so sorry to hear this as I know that you still had Christmas things to do.
Sorry for your unfinished projects. Maybe you could bake something for the gifts you intended. I think I am the only one left that loves fruit cakes. I quit making them 15 yrs ago when the cost of making them became astronomical! Yes, you can buy then but not the same. Kay
You are so right & we really like Christmas cakes too but the dark ones are next to impossible to find & your so right about the prices too!~hugs~
Don't forget, Santa is coming and maybe there is a surprise under the tree that you don't know about. It's also to help you step back a bit and regroup for the important things of Christmas. The real reasons for the season. Sorry it's broken.
I feel your pain. This too shall pass and sounds like you can fill your time with family. The best substitution. Merry Christmas
Bummer!!!!!! I feel for you. Not a good time.
That's discouraging. There's now time to do all the Christmas baking, clean your house top to bottom, redo the entire sewing room, and plan an exotic summer vacation. OR.... can your dealer/repairman loan or rent you a machine?
lol you have made me laugh so I thank you for this because the truth is all of these chores also have to be done lol & we have in fact brought our grandson back since he is on school break right now to help do all this lol
well except for redoing the sewing room of course lol
At least it's fixable. However, I'm with you in spirit.
Oh dear. I am so sorry. I do hope that you can borrow your old machine from your daughter.
yes me too she will let me know if she can be done with her project tonight so that is good. Could have it in the morning if all goes well
Did he say how that happens?
well he did say that it happened the last time due to a thick bit ? but he was able to repair it but now it has broke completely in the bottom part of the machine so he has to take the bottom all apart to repair it.
I am trying to figure if it is under warranty or not? I can't remember where it is so have to wait on hubs
But the good news is it I repairable :)
yes I suppose so..............yes that is true. I think I will borrow my old one that I sent over to my daughter's if she is not using it?
