I have a Brother 1500D that I love a Brother 900D my first Emb machine that I will never part with even though its only 4x4 field because my Dad bought it for me. A brother sewing only machine and an Elna Serger. I just sold 2 sewing only machines because I never used them. Love all my machines and have them all set up and use them all alot.
This has been really interesting. I did notice pldc (Loralye) did a nice little sideways step with her answer. Carolyn (noah) has evaded the question altogether. Carolyn did tell us years ago she would not tell how many machines she has. Probably cannot stop long enough to count them, LOL. Thanks to everyone for your answers. Hugs Marg
Well reading the comments below makes me a little envious, I have 1 100yr old Singer treadle type, Janome 300e, Janome sewing machine and Janome Serger all over 10yr old. I have bought 2 daughters and 1 granddaughter a new Brother sewing machine for Christmas (on special), I asked Santa if I was good enough for the new Brother Dream Machine but not this year he almost fell off his chair at the price..
I have a Janome MC11000SE, a Janome serger (that I plan on selling) and now I have a babylock Enlighten serger and my newest edition - the Ellissimo Gold 2. I also have my granddaughter's brother machine here - my Janome memory 7 is now with my son and dil.
Hi Marg, Well were do I start, currently are have 2 Husqvarna Designer 2 (Quilting & Embroidery Machines), These are my main working machines. A Singer Furtura CE350 Embroidery/Sewing Machine, still brand new, only been used on the sewing side for a few hours. My Janome Memory Craft 3000 Sewing Machine, which I have had for over 10 years and used a lot for making children's clothes,(and only have had it serviced for the first time last year, and was told by my tech that it was in very good condition). Then I have my Husband Keith's old work horse an Husqvarna Dual Motor Sewing machine ( must be at least 30 years old), and still working. Next is my light weight Brother 780d Embroidery Machine (that I take to sewing group). And to finish off I also have an Babylock 4 thread Overlocker/Serger. On my wish list I would like to buy a larger hoop machine like the Brother Dream Machine. Kind Regards Lorraine McNeill of Woodcroft South Australia.
They soon add up don't they. I lost count. As long as you are having fun it does not really matter........you can never have too many. Hugs Marg
I have Janome 11000SE, a Janome embellishing machine and a Brother overlocker.
I have 2 sewing machines and looking at a third... 1 overlocker/serger and one embroidery machine and looking to upgrade when I have the money saved. My dilemma is do I trade in my current embroidery machine or keep it?? Terrible decision to make there.
My old 1980s Janome is so good I loan it out to family or friends when they have a need, but I always ask for it back. I will share but only so far! :-)
I have 2 x Janome 11000's, 2 x Janome overlockers(serger), Janome 6600P, Janome gem, little elna sewing machine and an old singer that is older than me
I only have 2 machines & 1 serger. Serger's a BabyLock, machines are Viking SE & Viking Diamond. After seeing what all you gals have, I feel deprived! LOL

I always think I have only 2 (Brother) but then I have my Mothers old machine and have never used it and also the one I bought when I was 17 which is full of dust and not sure it still works.
I have a Janome MB4 embroidery machine, Janome serger Janome sewing machine and a Singer sewing machine. Want to get another serger.
It's always really to good to have a back up which we all end up learning the hard way lol
I have 2 embroidery machines, 1 sewing machine, 2 Overlockers - 1 a 3 thread and the other a 4 thread. PLUS a felting machine which came as a free with my Janome 11000. Which I have never used, A small Singer flatbed which fits into a little box like a Doctors bag. And a old antique machine well over 150 years old. It was given to me by the chap we bought our 1st home from. Both these machines are in working condition although I do not use them. I was offered a Brother for free when I purchased items from Echidna earlier this year. I declined the offer and asked if I could have the lower gift instead which happened to be a case with 6 assorted pairs of scissors, and a pair of tweezers.(Yes more scissors to add to the collection). I don't think I need any more Machines although I would not mind the Janome 15000 if it were to come my way.. Hugs Shirley
I have a Brother sewing machine and Brother embroidery machine. My daughters Elna resides at my house, an overlocker and a Singer treadle. I also have a little basic Brother sewing machine that lives at our onsite caravan.
I have an oldish Toyota sewing machine, a singer serger, a brother 300s embroidery machine, a brother pr1000 10 needle embroidery machine and finally a newer Toyota sewing machine and I love them all each one does something better than the others. I have the new brother Dream Machine, the pr1000e 10 needle machine,
brother 4000d and evolution serger plus a singer serger and early singer embroidery machine and not enough hours in the day to use them, but as they say you can't take it with you, so feed your fancy if you can
I' have a Babylock Ellegante ( started with an Ellageo and used her til she needed a LOT of help, and got a good deal on this one.) A Brother 270SE that I won-this is my quilt piecing and main sewing machine. A portable 20 year old Singer, goes through many layers, did many a hem in jeans. My Athena 2000 is in the cabinet that my Ellegante sits on-not used but close to my heart. And downstairs is the old, black Singer (first my Godmother's, then my Mom's) that I learned to sew on long ago. Oh, and a serger that my sister gave me that I need to try to learn.
And in the basement is a great cabinet with the metal stand-says White in the metal, that needs to be reconditioned. Someday.
I have a Bernina minimatic that I have had more years than I care to remember, my trusty Brother Galazie3000 and the Brother PR650. A overlocker is somewhere and there is a small Elna Lotus that is sitting in the hall waiting for a new home, I have given my old overlock machine and my late mothers Elna Lotus to my younger daughter who enjoys using them
I have a Husqvarna 2000 maroon sewing machine, (over 30 years old) a Husqvarna Quilt Designer ll with a reader writer, a Husqvarna Designer 1 SE(Exclusive Sensor System) and the Brother Quattro Innovis Eye 6700D (Disney). That's enough! I know Meg's got 6 or 7 sewing machines! Love Chris
And 2 Overlockers (1 for me and 1 for Amy) and the older Husqvarna Quilt Designer now resides at Amy's place!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I have four and have to keep it at that. No more space in my room. One is a back up sewing and embroidery machine, one a 6 needle, my Elissimo sewing and embroidery machine and my Ovation a serger. All are babylock machines and well used.
For me, not THAT many...I have a Janome 8000 that is 28 years old and still smokin good...I have my Ellisimo...and an Evolution Serger...these are set up and all in great working order...I have my grandmother's Singer in a cabinet in garage storage...I have my not so good original serger that I need to get rid of...and I have a Singer from the '70's that my SIL bought at a garage sale that doesn't work that I need to get rid of...so..three that are always working!
We moved recently and now I am down to 6 and won't confess how many I sold before the move!!!
