oh Marian what a beautiful tree! It looks life like! A really lovely tree & if you think it is under-dressed then you can always add more next year lol FSL ornaments would look lovely too. Thank you very much for sharing it with us!~hugs~
Thanks Loralye, it came from our hardware store it's actually a garden edging.. but I thought it would stop the presents being trampled.. and yes it keeps the toddlers away from the tree.
Just thought I would share my Christmas day with you all since it isn't every year we see my family on Christmas day.
1. This years tree, sorry it's a little blurred.
2. Son and DIL with my four beautiful Grandkids enjoying a romp in the pool before gift giving.
3. Me, handing out the gifts with the three youngest GK's
4. A very surprised (and I think happy), would be, Anna otherwise known as Amelia, with the ONLY gift she wanted.
I have really enjoyed seeing everyone's photo's. thank you all so much. hugs and roses, Meganne
Thanks for sharing your Christmas. Everything looks so festive and lovely...only one problem...you guys are in summer clothes and that doesn't compute! It's just strange to me because we are cold and it's been sooooo dreary. I just never thought about things like this, before joining this site. hugs and smiles
everyone looks beautiful meg! I love the tree as well thank you so much for sharing it with us!~hugs & one more for good measure!~
Went to SLC temple square to enjoy the lights and atmosphere. I spent Christmas day watching it snow... especially beautiful because I did not have to drive in it.
I went to my daughters. I will post them from her home. I totally messed up with the camera. My daughter, her husband and my two granddaughters in group shot and my gag gift to my son-in-law. #1 Gator hater trophy. I gave them the nativity years ago. Kay
It's just perfect Kay. I love it & the haha cup too! Thank you very much for sharing it with us. ~hugs~
sorry I took no pictures of my tree this yr. It had to be a small one up on a table because of my hubby getting around in his Wheel Chair. Not enough rm for a large one. /Lillian
I allways love to have a real tree with the smell but with the fir needles on the carpet too. This year i have a small one only in my winter garden, where I can see him from the livingroom and the kitchen too. The most ornaments are bobbinwork which made my granddaughter Alexandra and their other grandma.
It is lovely too & so pretty with the lights on. Thank you very much for sharing it with us. ~hugs~
Mine now has it's origami ornaments, but I won't post yet another picture of it! Yours looks nice.
a little impression of my livingroom:
I love it that you went all out! I hope to someday again! It is too much work these days.
Stunning! I would love to be able to decorate my home like this, I love it. hugs n love, Meganne
We have not got a tree up this year, as Hubby just had knee replacement and I have bad arm that wont move much at the moment without the muscle going into spasm.so we can not get to the attic spaces, to get the Christmas things out, i have got a small fiber optic one about a foot high,AND plentyof happiness and love, and that is more than a lot of people have this year, so I am content.
Hugs Pam. ,
I'm sure the love surrounding you everything beautiful Pam! I am keeping you in my prayers for a healthy & Prosperous New Year! ~hugs~
Sounds to me like you have the most important things. Prayers will be raise for family health.
