Why would you not like your work? I can tell you. We are our own worst critics!! While you are quietly criticizing your just finished project, everyone else is looking at it in awe and amazement. You need to be nice to yourself.
I teach sewing/quilting at the local senior center once per week. When someone starts in about how horrible of a job they are doing, and how their stitches are so wrong, I take their project, turn it around a few times and then ask them to show me the error. Rarely ever are they able able do so. They are looking at their work one stitch at a time, but when they cannot focus on that one stitch anymore, they understand.
You do beautiful work. Please tell yourself that, or at least listen to those around you. If you still don't believe me, go to any department store and take a look at any garment for sale. I can almost guarantee that your stitching is better than what you are looking at, regardless of the brand!! Enjoy sewing! Have fun with it, and be proud, because you have reason to be!!
Your comments are most welcome and I will treasure your suggestions
with gratitude and thanks.
I am a self thought, I have a small machine but after the encouragements from all members
I am planning for a more sophisticate machine.
Thank you again. Best wishes for the New Year.

I was right - I suggested this might be a Zundy design yesterday and I notice a few others have asked as well.
Here is the link - love Chris

Those coasters are fantastic and the apron is adorable! I can't figure out how you got the coaster lace to just fall off the edge so perfectly. It must have taken a lot of work to do.
We are our own worst critics I find. I know that some things that I do that I'm not pleased with look wonderful to others.
