I'd like to send milestone Birthday wishes for 27th December to my big sister, New Recruit who is a lurker here. She will probably hit me if I divulge her age, but I think she should be proud of starting to do machine embroidery in her 80th year. Perhaps she will be brave enough to post occasionally now she is old enough to be called a grown-up!

Happy Birthday to Sue's Big Sister!! :-)
Sorry, I missed the day.
Everyone does/knows different things on the computer. I should know, I taught the basics to newbies some 20+ years ago, now I am the slow one as I didn't keep up with learning the new stuff.
These days I just concentrate on the areas I want to know. And my new stuff is the embroidery machine. Any tips :-)

Thanks -I am not afraid of people knowing my age but the trouble is my confidence on the machine and computer are lacking

Pat the fact you are posting here and have produced some great work proves you are not lacking in computer skills. Your sister is in a different league to many so you are probably at the level of many others here

LOL!

Seeing the projects you posted in April I think your machine skills are great as well!

Happy Birthday and welcome to the Cute family! One is never too old to learn new things. So you're a youngster to machine embroidery. You have a wonderful sister who can help you out and a whole cute family as well. Welcome to your newest hobby (addiction) lol ~Charlotte

Happy birthday to you, sister of Sue!
She's a little bit sassy and herself not a young lassie,
so enjoy your special day, and maybe along the way,
You'll get to cheer, for YOU passes another year,
sister dear.

I am a little late for birthday wishes for your sister but I think better late then never. Hats off to her for keeping her mind going and finding new adventures to conquer. I hope we get to see some of her accomplishments.

I think it's marvelous. My kids keep telling me "you can do it" I keep wondering if I can. I'm sure she will be loving it Here I am76 and recently my daughter introduced me to a friend by stating "I grew up but mother never did.. Well since I'm not "grown up" I don't think she has to be grown up either. We have more fun this way/Lillian

Happy Birthday to you, and it is OK to lurk, I lurk on other groups. You must be proud of yourself to have thrived as long as you have. I would enjoy seeing your work!

Hope to see your big sisters work. A wonderful day is wished for her. Also beware she is older and can probably tell some good tales on you. Even if you are a little faster. There is always pay backs.

Boy have you got that all WRONG...Your sis is only as old as she feels, which sounds pretty young to me. I think it's a wonderful idea for her to try and with you as her guide...the possibilities are endless. YOU GO GIRL ...Happy Birthday to a new *8* year old! Here are some flowers for your birthday, will send them to you through your ornery sister...***** :P

Jut wondering if you are at home or New recruits home. Its fantastic that you have passed your love of machine embroidery on to Pat and your late sister Maeve. Now is Pat old enough to be considered 'grown up' or is that in a few years. Maybe you need to photo some of her work and post it for us to see. Happy creating of new work to New Recruit and Happy Birthday too

Best of luck for the 'wheels', Sue. Seems like it might be good weather to stay indoors anyway, over on your side of the world :)
