I really like his hat and scarf. Makes him look so debonair/Lillian
This one looks like a papa and the other is baby...must be working on mama! EWE is so clever.
How cute! From the beautiful outcome you have made it seem easy. Though, I am sure it wasn't ;-) Your daughter is very fortunate to have a talented mom who gladly teaches by doing!
Flowers for all - the sheep (is it: "It" or "He" (judged from the blue colour) or a "She" sheep ?) is so cute and I am glad you're sharing!
What I like best is the fact that your daughter asked her in so many
ways talented mother to do the trial first. It shows the daughter is
like mom: a very clever minded woman with a good sense of humour too.
Wishing you a very Happy 2015 - and please - a lot of these cute
sheeps too :-)
I'm still not sure if it is He or She! I have another one almost finished which will be she.
Very cute. I had to teach myself crochet because my mother showed me tooooooooo fast. I kept telling her try slow they say the hand is quicker than the eye.... hint, hint. Once her hand hit the needle she was in rocket mode.
I love the fact that you have been asked to carry out a trial for your daughter. Just wondering what your comment to her was from easy to hard. Anyway Twm and I were looking at Cute earlier and he said he liked Herdy. Presumably made from Herdwick wool?
Aaaag
The kit has herdwick wool, this is some I had leftover from something else.
He's so cute. This reminds us of our time in the UK - with the very enjoyable Lake District close-by. (Do you have snow right now?)
He's as beautiful as the Lake District. Well done and what a good mom you are.
That's a cute sheep, nice work. Is the hat separate or part of the head? I love his tiny ears!
The hat is separate (and keeps falling off.) The ears are great aren't they? To crochet them you split the yarn and use a much smaller hook.
lovely sheep but a lovely story, the things mums do for their children! Jo
