I would like to thank you all for your kindness , it is comforting to read your posts. I will keep this short as I don't feel well. I will put up a post when I am feeling better.
You sound good! Good! Glad you are prepared to start chemo again. I hope this will take care of it. Happy New Year!

Dear Heather, I'm so glad you had a wonderful Christmas with your family. I've done the same as you and cleaned out all my cupboards and gave away stacks of stuff to our Op Shop. My prayers will be with you as you start your next round of Chemo. Make sure you wear some brightly coloured head coverings, bandanas, hats etc. and I see you've already got a pink wig! It's been so hot down here and I'm sure up in Queensland you will have heat plus high humidity - I hope you have lots of support for you whilst you are going through your treatment. Do you have Bald and Beautiful days up in your neck of the woods so to speak? I'm sending you some information in a PM. Love and blessings Chris
Excellent planning. I have a friend who is highly allergic and when her asthma gets very out of control, she has to go take a steroid shot, which keeps her up for 4 or 5 days! So, when she starts getting bad, she buys fabrics and patterns and notions and stocks up on household cleansers, new broom, etc., clears her schedule, then calls and makes appointment for the shot!
Keep the faith dear lady...everyday will be a great day! Some will just be better than others. Every session of chemo is one step towards recovery, never forget that a journey of a thousand miles begins with one step...depending how you look at it you are approaching the final steps. You are not alone on this journey, the Creator is walking right beside you and on the days it's harder than others lean on Him. Bless you and your family.
Well done for getting organised. Love your plan. Enjoy your good days and don't stress the bad.
Hope your Christmas was wonderful, will be thinking of you with all the Chemo you will have. Hugs sally
I'm sorry that you have to go through another round of chemo. Do you go by yourself to the treatments? How many treatments per week?
Try not to go by yourself. Family and friends can make the time spent receiving IV chemo go much faster. Sometime you may only want to sleep, but other times you may enjoy talking about something other than the treatment. You know what the treatments are like and how they make you feel, but the more you can laugh the better.
There is so much to be shared during the times you may be anchored to that chair. My sister received treatments for her cancer and we took cards and played games. We shared so much during those times that the memories of those times still make us laugh. One time we went to see her Dr. before treatment and when he came into the exam room he was surprised. Each of us (my sister, her daughter and I) had put on wigs of different colors. After that he stuck his head in before he came into the exam room. Another time was clown costumes.
Let us hear from you next week as you start the new treatment. Prays for an easy time with the new chemo. Hugs and more hugs.
Heather, I'm praying for you during this next round. You have been very industrious in cleaning out cupboards and I wish that I had joined you in doing mine. You have all your goods at the ready and we will be looking forward to seeing what you accomplish in your night wanderings. I'm glad to hear that are planning on going out this time, and remember we are here for you.
My you be blessed during this new round of chemo. Prayers for your comfort and strength
Thankyou Rescuer, I will be having twenty weeks of Chemo, last time I locked my self into my home, it became lonesome. This time on my healthy days I shall go to my quilting and embroidery groups, then out to lunch with the girls. hugs Heather
