Very nice :)
I buy my snaps from Snaps Australia (they also sell PUL for any Aussies reading this) and I have so many that I keep them in 18 compartment boxes (like tackle boxes - bought from Bunnings, again for any Aussies reading). I separate colours by column, and in each column I separate them into sockets, studs and caps. I have the large press so I also keep the spare dye and hex tool with in one of the trays so they're always with the snaps. I can fit about 5 of these tackle boxes (I think) into one of those blue zip up cooler bags used for shopping. Yes, I have a lot of snaps lol .. welcome to another addiction ;) xXx
wow a really good way for you to store them! I have thought of another idea that I may do. I received a new spice rack for Christmas & I may use the old one to store them into the glass spice jars & then put them into the spinner too!
I see that a few of you either have or are going to get your Kam Snaps soon I am really looking forward to seeing what you all come up with. I have just had an idea spurned from Marian's lovely train wall hanging. She has made lovely button tabs @ the top I think this is a perfect splendid idea for snaps too! Thanks for pointing me in the right direction Marian!
Lovely. and i just had to have a look at them didnt I , and I had to have some didnt I . . What fun they look .
Hugs Pam.
Well, I just placed my order for the Kam Pliers and some black and white snaps. Your enthusiasm made me curious about the snaps so I checked their website and placed my order. I like the little bags you made and the color coordinated snaps :-)
thank you Nancy they are so easy to use you will be looking for projects to make with them lol!~hugs~
Great Idea! Mine should arrive after the weekend. Can't wait :)
I was pondering about getting these my self, but you have convinced me will order a set or two next week..Marian
I've been looking at the Kam Snaps for a while now, wondering if I would like them. It looks like you all might have given me a good answer!!
Awesome idea with the colored bags. That way you won't be chasing them all over the place, looking for the other half of the right color. Very cool!
Good for you - I love my Kam snaps - they always work. I have all of my snaps in large ziplock bags and they are all in a clear drawer - if I need to use it - I pull out the entire drawer and there is everything I need. Hugs to you, Laura*
thanks Laura they are pretty great, now that I have them I want to use them in whatever I can come up with. They really are quite easy to use. Not the old snaps from many years ago...............they hardly ever worked for me & I still have a few of them left sigh.........these are much nicer & so easy to use! I am hooked
Good for you to get organized...I used my friends once, then I bought the snaps and pliers set for myself 6 months ago and they are all still in the bag...I need to get them out this year!
Oh you have to try them out they are so easy to use! I am definitely hooked or should I say snapped! lol
These are really cute, well done on getting them all organised. Love Chris
Have you thought of using the plastic that you can sew for the front of your pockets? I have done that twice now for different things. One was a cushion with hanging sides for something that went on the chair in the hall where my sewing group met. Another was a carry bag for sewing supplies. Very pretty with wide satin ribbon used to cover the edges of the plastic fronted pockets. The pockets in both projects had zips on them for safe containment and easy use.
sorry I think I already made one for my sewing things. a pin cushion on the middle with side pockets, I found it.

Great idea, I have mine in plastic containers which came with the snaps.
that must make it easier for you too. Mine came in plastic bags that you have to rip open, so I separated each part into smaller ziploc bags. Thanks Barbel. ~hugs~
