These are beautiful. I love that they are quilted front and back. Great job. You need to sell your designs.
Cloreta
Thank you, Cloreta...but no, I don't want to sell my designs...to complicated...
Lovely design for the case and the stitching goes so well with the design of the material. You are very talented.
Very Pretty Love the design on black it really pops ! Suzanne
That is great. Hoping DBC will be back again too. I am still learning to use my machine so I love seeing work and being inspired by others.
VERY Nice Design! I too hate satin stitch edges on things like this. Hoping for DBC sometime in the future.....
This is so pretty. Very nicely done, and you are so talented to know how to do this. I would not know where to begin to design a case like this in the hoop. I am assuming you must need a hoop larger than a 5 x 7 to make a case for a hoop that size? Some day I hope to own a machine with a larger hoop size. Perhaps by then I will have the know how as to how to digitize a project like this. One can hope!
This is just beautiful - I'm also not a fan of the satin stitched edge ones and so prefer the turning. I love that you've made the front a hair shorter than the back for easy access.
O so perfect, how clever of you. all looks fantastic together.
Hugs pam.
This design goes perfectly with the fabric you used. Well done!
Dear Kim - thank you and thank you again. I know that my daughter will love it.
You are so very welcome, Sarah...I hope it is what you were looking for...let me know if you need any changes to its size, etc...Hugs!
This case is nice and as always, you are willing to help a fellow Cutie. I am sure Sarah loves it. The only one I have ever made, had a satin stitch edge, and I was so afraid I would cut the satin stitches when I tried to trim close. This is much better. Oh, by the way, my sister left with the one I made.-lol
Thanks, Toogie...I, too, am not fond of satin stitches on items like this..especially the things that have batting and are quilted...I much prefer a clean turned finish...and actually it is much faster to stitch out...win, win!!
love it Kim , much better than the satin stitched edge ones
It looks fabulous Kim, well done. I'm sure once DBC comes back this will be a winner. Love Chris
This looks very pretty & I love the fabric you used. Well done. So lucky you can digitize!
Kim, you sweet thing you! Always ready to help. This is beautiful and I know Sarah is over the moon.
Hi Kim you cuties that digitize are so generus with your time I love th e glasses case i will love if the the dbc comes back...soozie
How sweet of you. You are tops in my book to do this for friend Sarah who is also dear to me.. thank you/Lillian
You are so kind with all you do for others. I like the design and the case. May I ask you how many hoopings do you need and is any hand sewing to do?
I buyed the design for the purse I have shown in the last project only to see if there are rawedges in the front or zippered pocket and how to do this in the hoop:-)
Thank you...the case is done in two hoopings...and the only hand sewing is to close the little opening used for turning..it is about 2 inches long...it could be glued or fused with Steam-a-Seam..or just left open...it is on the inside at the bottom of the case and you wouldn't see it anyway...but I choose to whip stitch it closed...very easy project...any design could be placed in either or both sides.
Beautiful. Everybody would love this you have done a lovely job.
Isn't this lovely! You are a real sweetie! Love the fabrics and your design.
Oh this is very pretty Kim! It happens I also need one. ~hugs~
