Christie and I did this one. 2 layers wool felt for each side. and a small applique area. The lace is store bought, however I think it is just so perfect. I think in the future I would look for FSL.

5461966023The lace at the top is perfect for this sock. Don't see lace anywhere else. I sometimes put fsl on fabric. Once the stabilizer is taken out, the fsl is soft and easy to work with.
