as long as santa comes we are used to the heat in oz
Guess you now have some sort of idea what Christmas in Australia is like. That's the reason celebrating Christmas in July (here) has become so popular. LOL!!! hugs, M
Probably like Florida or California here. I am only one state north of Florida, but a couple hundred of miles. We have a little snow here but not much, usually in Jan.
For those of you that think I'm a little off. Southern Living is a publication of magazines and books devoted to southern traditions, hospitality's, home decor, gardening and most of all southern cooking. You know we love to eat.
Aren't those SL recipes the finest. I've got some of their that go way way back *4U
I hate to admit the number of their cookbooks I have. Go back to 1970's Now you can go on Southern living .com and get recipes for free, but I still like to look at the pictures and read the articles.
That's really rushing things. In South Africa, a lot of people have a celebration which is called 'Christmas in July'. This is done because, for us, December is the middle of summer and it is too hot to enjoy a full-on hot Christmas meal, so they have the traditional Christmas meal in July when it is cold. But then we still have Christmas proper in December - often having a cold meal with salads etc. Hope this makes sense to you. *4U
I think it is early but.........takes time to make things and get them out to where they are going. At least for me it takes time. *4U enjoy the mag tonight...........
