Still beautiful eight years later!
Oh my, I didn't expect to see one of my old projects here again, after eight years! Thank you for your comment!
Hugs, Lidia
Lidia, I just saw this wall hanging in my newsletter from Sue Box. I read and thought 'this has to be our Lidia,Cutie'. If so, congratulations on being 'spot lighted' there! We aren't the only ones that appreciate your work! Sincerely, Toogie
Wow...sooo beautiful. Your wallhangings are all lovely. Hugs...Shyam.
Beautiful! I have been collecting Sue Box designs whenever they offer some sales in their newsletter and I see your beautiful work showcased all the time.
Thank you, Lucia. I have seen your beautiful FSL doily in Sue Box website as well.
Hugs, Lidia
I find this an enchanting project.! A lovely use of that design. Your frame really is unique and softens the edges of the frame. Well done!
Beautiful as all your wallhangings, I agree with Toogie you need lots of walls to look at all.
Lidia...I received the Sue Box Newsletter yesterday...and low and behold...they have used your wall hanging to showcase the design collection...you go girl!!!
Lovely use of the design. Was looking at it a few hours ago while reviewing my emails. I like how you did the frame. Might have a go at this when I find some felt in my sewing room jungle. Though my frame won't have your nice wiggles in it, and I will need to use a smaller design as my hoop is not as big as yours.
I have been playing with Jemma and the Mask from Timeless Teddies.
Absolutely fab as all your wall hangings and doilies. I am glad you got the resizing spot on - I know it is not as easy to accomplish as it may sound to the uninitiated.
Thank you, Martine. I haven't resized the larger outline (I have tried but didn't like it much). I have created a new one from scratch and have made the width 4.4mm. It's hard work either way lol... Thank you very much for your help. Hugs, Lidia
When I edited the text above, adding a few words, many words attached to the previous/following word and when I tried again, it became worse, so I leave the text as it is... sorry.
Hugs, Lidia
It usually does when you edit, but when you refresh the page all is back to normal - as you probably can see when you look at the page again.
I sent you an email - explaining how I resize frames like this. It might possibly help you. As you can see the making of the frame, the taking of pictures and writing the method took less than 42 min.
You are right about the editing, thank you, Martine.
Also, thank you for your email, you have given me the push I needed to buy Studio!
Hugs, Lidia
I'm trying to send you an email but my service provider isn't working properly. I'll try again later.
Hugs, Lidia
You must have a lot of walls at your house-lol- Another beauty!
Another great one i NEED a bigger hoop lol hugs Carolyn
Carolyn, this time you DON'T need a bigger hoop, I made this wall hanging in my 260x200mm hoop (10x8" hoop) and you got it. The design itself measures 9.92x6.99" (252by177.5mm). Thanks for your comment. Hugs, Lidia
Lidia, can we purchase your border design? I think the smaller size you have done will fit my 7x11.8 hoop. I love the hangings you are making.
Hi Debbie (sewntrouble), the size of this frame outline should fit your hoop. Embroidery is my hobby and I don't sell my designs or projects. I sent you a PM.
Hugs, Lidia
Lidia, your rose wall hanging is absolutely beautiful - as are all your wall hangings!!!
Impressive as usual.
I have used all the superlative I know!
Love your wall hangings..... all of them!
Hugs, Roberta
I wanted to let you know that I found the website. I can not wait to do some of these, thanks to you for sharing your exceptional work.
