Love all items. but I am a newbie. Got my Brother PE770 for Christmas and am still practicing. I've tried to make a burp cloth with little baby feet and a monogram but have not been successful yet. But I will keep trying!
Thankyou What kind of problems are you having? Can I be of help in any way?/Lillian
Very nice Baby items. Thank you for sharing. Happy Stitching
Very nice Lillian. I have to comment on your c2c on-don't you just love how quick and easy that pattern is. I just saw it on Mikey's site-had to try it-ended up making one out of a bunch of my yarn stash that I haven't touched in about 9 yrs. I made a double size bed afghan for my daughter-definitely going to use that one again-sewings how my sewing room/basement is in the middle of a major overhaul with insulating/sheetrock and packrat city clutter all stacked up lol.
I love the pattern and have just about finished the afghan I am doing am in the decreasing stage now. thanks Lillian
LOL-wow-it's a wonder you could understand my comment-didn't go back and re-read what I typed-major typo's- I have sewing "burn out" so I haven't touched my machines much in the past 3-4 months-and because of my torn apart work area-I have re-discovered the love of yarn projects. Just made another pair of the old classic knitted checkerboard(in variegated yarn-no color changes) slippers for my 2 yr old grandson, working on a ripple afghan to replace one that I made 38 yrs.ago that I finally tossed out and just casted on another dishcloth- I love projects I can carry around from room to room. :D. But today's big project is the basement-hubby got all the sheetrock up and outlets all wired and boxed-now my daughter and I get jump in and be 1st time "mudders"-got a big room to mud, tape and sand before the painting can happen-anxious now to see that phase done-better get off this thing and get to work :D
All this is lovely, and will be a pleasure for the new mom.
You are a true gift with your beautiful works. I am sure the mother will love the gifts for baby. The scarfs are gorgeous.
Wow! Lillian, you've been very busy. They are all fabulous! Love Chris
All of your items are lovely. The new mom and dad will love what you have made for their little bundle of joy!
Wow, great job! You are really ahead starting for Christmas in January...what a woman!
Thanks Jerrilyn, Daughter got a bargain in Fleece for me(The better fleece, heavy and doesn't pill) @ Hancock's. She saw my red one and decided that was what she was going to give teachers and Library Aides for Christmas this yr. so guess who will be making them for her.. She bought enough fleece for both of us. Got around $100.00 worth for $34.00 and it is all beautiful. She bought different kinds of prints and then matched it with solids, so front of scarf will be a print and it will be lined with a solid/Lillian
Great job with so many projects. There will be a happy mamma and baby with all the new gifts.
Great job! Love the purple. Do yo buy cloth diapers to make the burp cloths? I have not made baby things in so many years. Kay
Wow you have put hours into these and what fine looking clothes hugs
wow they are all lovely & the purple is quite striking! well done & little Aubrey will be a happy princess for sure!~hugs~
LOL This young mother hates pink(poor baby) She's a red head and purple is her favorite color, has the nursery all done up in purple, yellow and other pastels. Actually it's very pretty for she has used a lot of white also/Lillian
