Thank you all for your kind words...if anyone needs any further instructions for the twirly skirt...please send me a PM...Hugs!
Kim, what superb job you have done on this set.......lovely!
Just beautiful. I have granddaughters who will love these. Thanks so much for the directions. Love the peekaboo. Becky
Just darling - but what is WOF in your directions? Thanks
Your little skirts are gorgeous :) I love how you have gathered the top skirt layer and pinned to the band. Could you please share how you done the gather :)
Thank you, kanny...to gather the outer skirt...I actually begin at the hem and pleat it..like you would pleat or fan a piece of paper...back and forth...then there is a "loop" that goes around it that is sewn at the waistband...then I put a puffy stuffed heart over the loop and added a button in the center of the puffy heart...if you enlarge the picture, you will see it better...easy peasy!
You're on a roll! You have all those dolls finished! And now on to these cute skirts! WOW ! Let us know when you come up for air-lol- Cute as always
Awesome skirts and Raggie dolls. I got a sudden urge for cinnamon hearts.
Love, love, love the little skirts. Whose pattern?
It is my "pattern" but really no pattern...main skirt is length of skirt and 2 x WOF, overskirt is 2" shorter x 2 WOF, waist band is 3" x 1 WOF...sew 2 WOF of main skirt together..same for overskirt...gather each to length of waistband...sew main and oversk
They are gorgeous. You do such a great job with all your pretty outfits for your grand-nieces. Love Chris
What an adorable set! Your grand nieces will be thrilled.
