Boy am I such a clux.... I have been DE cluttering our storage room that we have for keeping spare blankets, towels, pillows etc needed for our business (accommodation Industry) I have just come across a plastic storage box that I had forgotten about with approx. 100 tea towels in , brand new.!!! I have been buying tea towels to practice the designs on , I could have been using these !!!! der I should have been de cluttering earlier.
Good thing is I have no excuse to not embroider. Everyone will be getting tea towels for Christmas, birthdays and just for the heck of getting one

I live in Scone NSW Australia. My Daughters live in Stockton Newcastle NSW, about 2hrs drive apart. Can make them without getting into too much trouble

yes I will have heaps of fun, I found how to make apron from a tea towel (grandchildren will love them) embroider first them make. pillow covers emb lib, even join some together to make a picnic table cloth.

sure is, will have no time for working my business, we have a horse festival coming up in May, so they will be very handy if I put horsey pics on some of them and sell as souvenirs.

My husband stood looking in disbelief !! all I could say was "Do you know what the cuttees would do with these? " he just shook his head and walked away.lol

Yes , and they are large tea towel too, maybe big enough to cut in half some of them and make some of those towel topper ones I have seen being made here.

It is amazing what you find when you have a tidy up, and amazing too how you have another excuse not to throw things out because it can be embroidered on.

That`s an idea, not going to show my daughters , they give me a hard time as it is for my bulk buying tendency, I will just have to search the cuties site now in there project section to find things to make out of embroidered tea towels !!
